Hiring Process
The hiring process has four phases. Please read the directions below carefully and contact the school with questions using the address as you see below.
PHASE 1 has 3 steps to be initiated and completed by the applicant:
• STEP 1: Complete on-line application on the same day as you send resume (STEP 2)
• STEP 2: Send resume to TI's jobs email address (see above) on the same day as you complete the on line application (STEP 1). Please remember to include your teaching certification or proof of pending certification as well.
• STEP 3: Within one week of completing the on-line application and emailing your resume, submit a 90-second video, via YouTube. In the video explain who you are and why you are interested in becoming a part of the TI Team. Make the post nonpublic; send the link to jobs@ticharter.org
PHASE 2 is initiated by TI:
• Phone interview(s) with a member of the leadership team
• Face to face interview with candidate and member(s) of the TI Team
• Sample teaching lesson (for teachers)
• Problem solving scenario (for staff)
• Writing sample completed during interview
PHASE 3 is initiated by TI:
• Second interview with TI Team, including member(s) of the Board of Trustees and/or Advisory Board, in person or via Skype
• Reference check
• Collection of legal documents (official transcripts, certifications, fingerprints, background check, immunization records/annual physical)

• Candidate notification
